Well done on admitting that you do have a problem, even though it's only on here. You don't have to be 'thin enough' though to receive help. If you're making yourself sick / using laxatives, you have a problem which needs resolving.

Go see your GP and tell them what's going on. They can't tell anyone else if you tell them not to (i.e. parents) , however they will probably recommend treatment for you which will help. One of these things may be to tell others so that they can help you as well. They'll probably try things such as counselling as well to get to the root of the problem and find out why you do this.

Ultimately though, you do have to have the determination within yourself to give up though or you will end up extremely ill. If you aren't mentally ready to stop doing this to yourself, no treatment will help you.

Good luck

Okay, you know that most bulimics don't get skinny? But what they do end up with is a messed up metabolism, crumbly teeth, and poor internal health. How do I know, you ask? I have fought an on off battle with bulimia since I was 17. My Uncle told me i didn't eat enough, then I ate too much, OMG I was just so confused. So purely from my own experience, I believe that bulimics need help to talk about why they're punishing themselves.

So do I think you're thin enough to need help, I'll have to pass on that one because I don't want to reinforce any of your body dysmorphia. Do I think you need help to address why you're doing this? Yes. Do I think you deserve help? Yes.

Please go see your doctor immediately.

I'm now 31 years old, and after 13 years of laxative abuse/purging, I'm in poor health. I have teeth which all need veneers (else they will fall out within five years), and I have arthritis of the spine. Bulimia will cause you so many problems in the future, please give your all to any treatment you get offered. Learn from my mistakes.

You don't need to be a certain size to receive help for bulimia, as it's your insides and mental health that suffer the most. To get help I would go and speak to your doctor and see what they can do for you. They will probably refere you to a specialist.

Realistically you're not going to be able to find help on here, so going to your doctor or confinding in someone who may know what to do would be best.

Hope this helps.

The only person that can help you is yourself, at least you know what you are doing is wrong and you are asking for help but each day you continue the way you are you are a day closer to dying because you are killing off your internal organs - I don't mean to scare you but a friend of mine was taking lots of laxatives per day to keep slim and although she looked gorgeous she collapsed and ended up in hospital and now she has damaged her kidneys and liver etc and they are trying to build her body up to enable her to survive, she is only 26 years old. Go and talk to your doctors and they will arrange help.

There is no weight or body size requirement for receiving treatment for bulimia. Talk to your doctor about this immediately and he/she will guide you to the appropriate resources for your specific problem.
