i just lately have been experiencing very weird feelings in my head, i'll try to explain it but it's hard too. It's like there is a constant lazor zapping in my head which changes in volume to loud to a low volume and there is pressure in there trying to escape (i feel like im going mad, i dont get a break from it!) the lazor also aplifies whenever i move my head from side to side or even my eyes from side to side. I've been having other experiences such as the back of my head beating like a heart. I woke up with it in the middle of the night and had to get up. I was so scared walking around the house because the beating was getting more and more intense and i litterally thought my head would explode. It died back down within half an hour but it scared the wits out of me. My thoughts are also very cloudy, i find it difficult reading even short articles now because i cant focus my eyes properly on the text as well as not knowing what i just read. I've found i'm moving alot slower too because im dizzy, feel off balance and short of breath. It's like a constant haze is over me, i also feel shakey in my hands and sometimes legs when im walking. I don't know whats wrong with me, i feel shocking. the doc doesn't know what it is when i tell him, but i cant take much more of this, i've got no idea whats going on with me, has anyone had any similar strange head symptoms?? thanks

Why do not you share this information with your close relatives, parents, well wishers, friends, etc. It is necessary that you consult a Doctor with your close relative. You are having strange feelings.

Your doctor needs to take this more seriously. You have not really given much detail, are you going onto or coming off of medication?

It can be very distressing and frightening when our bodies suddenly betray us.

I had a really bad health scare earlier this year when I got very ill. I was exhausted and in constant pain and I thought I had everything from Cancer to insanity.

As it transpired blood tests confirmed that I was suffering an Auto Immune response to an other wise normally harmless virus. Basically because the virus was totally new to my particular immune system it kind of went into overkill and started attacking my bones and joints. Time and rest with some strong NSAIDS soon put my health right but what a relief to know that I was going to be ok.

Be more up front with your doctor and more determined to get to the bottom of things. Its your health so it's your responsibility to get your doctor more on board and you need peace of mind.

You may be suffering the bizarre effects of a virus, you may need an MRI scan, perhaps you are experiencing migraine(Trust me I get them. They can be that bad and do all those things and sometimes I'm afraid they go on for weeks) You may need your eyes testing or be suffering from some kind of stress related disorder.

Our bodies are weird and complicated, the smallest things can sometimes cause all kinds of terrifying symptoms. Try not to panic. Panicking wil only exacerbate your symptoms. Go back to your doctor explain fully what is happening to you and how frightening you find it. Insist gently but firmly on tests. Don't take no for an answer and don't let the doctor pull the old I'm an expert I know best routine. Because if he/she can't tell you what it is then they don't know best. Take control of your health. I hope you fell well soon. Stay positive. Get pro-active. Control.

I was on lexapro for awhile a year back and I had to swich because I couldn't handle the side effects. It took me a few depression meds before I found the one that worked for me. Everyones body is different. I'm now taking zoloft which helps with my depression and anxiety. I was diagnosed with depression and generalized aniexty disorder. I highly reccomend that you don't take xxanax because it's highly addictive (especially was for me) and I got the shakes an hour or so before I was suppose to take it. I now take klonopin for my anxiety once a day or as needed. Klonopin lasts longer and doesn't have weird side effects. I hope this helped! If you ever need anyone to talk to, just email me!(:

I'm totally the same. It's taken over me so I can't read a book or complete any task properly. It's like a constant buzzing noise and my other senses have diminished. I've put it down to anxiety, and lack of sleep.

Could be migraine. Could be anxiety. Could be other things, too. Neurologists are the non-psychiatric head docs. They are the docs to see for serious migraine and other head problems. They also are familiar enough with psych problems that if it's anxiety or something like that, one would be able to help you there, too.

Get a second opinion! Not every doctor is right. Got to three or more until you are completely sure it's nothing too serious. Weird feelings in the head and fuzzy eyesight sounds suspect. Seek help please!
