I've been taking Wellbutrin 150mg twice a day for 3 weeks. About 2 weeks ago I started having tooth problems. Today, the dentist did x-rays and found no reason for the pain. Could this be a side-effect of the drug? If so, will the pain stop if I stop taking the drug?

The best thing to do to find out is to call your pharmacist and get a printout of all the possible side effects of wellbutrin. I take the same dose with no side effects, but as you know, everyone is different. I've never heard of that one. Good Luck!

It is not listed on the direct PI. Any Pharmacists will tell you that it cannot cause tooth-pain. Not in the PDR as well. I looked it up for you.

But with antidepressants, anything is possible. It is probably not the drug, but with any medication there are side effects that we do not even know.

Sinus problems can cause pain like a toothache, maybe you should go see a doctor.

Its not listed on its website but a possibility. Ask your physician and never stop a medication without medical direction.
