My older brother is a personal trainer and my younger brother is doing a level 2 IT course at college. My dad knows the names that they call me as he has heard them and I have told him, but he never does anything about it, and he said the other week I'm a physco and I have got mentle problems. I have recently started as a volunteer at Oxfam, and I am hoping to volunteet at a youth club soon. I have also recently started studying for my maths level 2 qualification. I am also soon to start a CompTIA A+ 2009 course. I am also hoping to start a ECDL Level 2 soon, a level 2 NVQ in Customer Service, a English GCSE, a level 2 and level 3 NVQ's in youth work. Website Design level 2 and 3. Text Processing level 2 and 3.

By the way I'm the only one in my family with any kind of disability, I have also told my mum about my brothers before but she don't do anything either. My youth worker said she is very proud of me as I am such a hard working young person. But do people look at me and think to themselves "He has a disability"? And do people look down on me and respect me less because I have a disability? And also do they like and respect people more that don't have any kind of disabilitys, and people who have got better qualifications?

I need help, I have thought about killing myself, I feel soo down, upset and confused. I have nearly killed myself so many times, I don't know how much more I can take I am worthless and my life don't mean anything. Can anyone give me any advice or help? What should I do? And please don't say brothers are meant to call me these names as what they call me is just evil.

As far as I have been told I have just got a mild learning disability.

Thank you in advance

I really don't know how you can be considered to have a learning disability with such an impressive CV but even if it were true then it is incredibly cruel and crasse for your own family to call you names. The compositition of your email is so complex and well written that i find it hard to believe you when you say you have a disability.

But even if you do have learning difficulties, surely your family should support you and not take away your self-esteem ? Have you thought about going to a Social worker and asking her to intervene on your behalf and telling your family how much this is upsetting you .

Good luck

Thoughts of sudide no. You should go and visit your doctor and tell him/her what your thoughts are.

Sounds like you are feeling some depression due to this.

You have a life to life for the purpose of living is you have one. Look a the the accomplishments you have achieved and having a disability does not mean that you will not end up getting a job.

Talk to some one you can trust - a friend about this and your support worker regards to family not really caring and sounds like they are just ignoring you.

This is your life and I believe everyone deserves a happy and healthy life. Ignore what your brother says do do. Don't listen to them. You deserve to be happy in your life, but your thoughts are holding you back and try not to think NEGATIVE and think POSITIVE.

Jobs Hunting:

Getting in a job is difficult - a lot of competition out there. I now it as even I have a lot of experience in my job and yet I cannot get into a new job.

Look again at your CV does it need changes? also ask someone else option. Make sure your covering letter is good and straight to the point when applying for jobs. Employers see many applications every time.

Make your CV stand out!

► Personalise your CV with a short letter that tells employers why you think you're perfect for the job. A cover letter is the best way to put a face on your CV◄

Studying is want still you continue to do then aim for it.

Be confident in yourself and believe in yourself. You are an amazing person. You deserve to have a great life. You should be out there having a good time and enjoying life. The point in life is to enjoy yourself and have an amazing time.

♥ Remind yourself of your good qualities and your goals. Work toward your own goals and you have a full life ahead of yourself.

I hope you feel better soon. I wish you all the best!

Well the fact that there are multiple methods of birth control out there and people who don't have the self control to use one is a reason I can think of. Having a child is a huge responsibility and deciding that you want a baby because you happened to get pregnant is just simplifying the situation too much. I do not believe in abortion. But to answer your question as to why society looks down on teen moms is that either way the odds of this being a positive situation are not good at all. A teen has not established who they are in society yet and if you see a pregnant teen you usually think careless before you think brave. You tend to feel sorry for the baby involved.

Your youth worker is absolutely right to be proud of you, look at your your achievements! You sound like you have all the building blocks there to make a success of your life.

Please do tell someone about this name calling and put all thoughts of suicide behind you. You sound to me like a wonderful young man. Good luck with whatever you choose to do.
