My husband is currently on 15 Mg of Abilify which is no longer working, we were thinking of asking the doctor about putting him back on Geodon since it worked so well on him before(got off of it because of tremors) How well does Abilify and Geodon work together for voices and visual hallucinations?

Okay I'm not really sure of their abilities together. But I am currently on Geodon (I'm supposed to take it but the tremors and close-to-fainting-spells I don't like) You could ask his doctor to raise the dosage rather than going back to Geodon.

I suffer from both auditory and visual hallucinations and while Geodon might be effective, it doesn't help if the side effects suck. If the doctor can not raise the dosage for Abilify, he probably will not combine the two drugs because Abilify has stopped working for your husband.

Hopefully I helped a bit.

I would try to get the doctor to raise the dosage on the Abilify first. My daughter takes 20mg twice a day so 15mg doesn't sound like a lot. There are several other meds too that the doctor might be able to suggest to try to avoid the side effects that he has been experiencing.

I think Geodon is a remarkable med. It helps the positive and negative symtoms. I have found that seroguel and geodon together really makes a bid difference.

i do no longer comprehend the degree of your difficulty, yet while i'm fairly drained and there is little white noise i will hear countless sounds by silence. attempt listening to music or save a source of white noise, I consistently have one or the two around in any respect situations.
