Question:
Any forms of suicide where there is no corpse to left behind?

First off, this is in no way an attempt to ask how I should do it, I do not want to.
I do however work with people that are mentally challenged and it got me thinking, if you were to do it what would be a unique way where as there would be no body left behind, no police report, and no need for a casket at a funeral?
Things my co workers have come up with are setting yourself ablaze, suicide bombing, jumping into a volcano, shark attack.
Anyone care to share their thoughts?
Again, this is not a cry for help, strictly curiosity on others thoughts, please do not leave the typical "don't do it, get help" answer.
Thanks

Haha, you work with mentally disabled people therefore you and your coworkers discuss ways to commit suicide without a corpse left behind?

Some of your ideas would end up in a police report.

Realistically, I think simply disappearing, you know, Niagra Falls type suicide, getting lost in the woods, going over a bridge where there is a rapid current underneath might do it, but you'd have to make sure that you were not coming across as currently depressed, since you want it not to be a suspected suicide, but a disappearance, perhaps even fake some sort of kidnapping...leave hope that somewhere you are out there.

Yea, but really, if you're going to euthanize yourself, don't do it, get help.

You should tell your co-workers to think harder next time. Setting yourself on fire and shark attacks would, in fact, leave a corpse. (Your bones would not burn away from a simple fire and the shark eating your entire body is very unlikely.)

However, fire would work if you stuck yourself in a cremation furnace. Those burn hot enough to incinerate bone.

Though unlikely to happen, if the person was an astronaught and left a space shuttle w/o his or her suit while in space, they would disintegrate from lack of pressure.

Burying themselves alive (or at least overdosing etc while in a buried coffin) would leave a corpse, but not exactly in a way that anyone would find. Plus that saves the trouble of others finding the casket.

Any kind of powerful bomb, of course, and immersion in powerful acid would do the trick.

I hope this helped!

Only decent thing i can possibly tell you is to GIVE UP on this foolish idea. there has to be a way to be positive no matter how ill the person is. sorry.

setting urself ablaze is the only thing.
