What mental illness do you think Tom Cruise has? Or, any scientologist for that matter?

They all are sooooooo anti-psychiatry that it's almost impossible to believe they don't have some serious psychological problems. I'm sure there are exceptions, but the intensity of their attack is just plain abnormal.

And, another Q... why don't they call themselves pseudoscientologists since they are anti-hard science?

Everyone is entitled to their beliefs, and while I don't agree with Scientology, and I wouldn't partake in it myself, it's their right.



That said, psychiatry is important and I worry people who should receive treatment for something wouldn't on the basis of their chosen religion.



I think Tom Cruise is probably mentally healthy, just a bit over zealous in the way he behaves regarding his spirituality.

Wow. Oracle is totally over reacting! I wonder what mental illness is affecting oracle. Being snappy and making judgements are also signs of mental illness. Look we could all do this to each other all night, but how about we show some maturity and restraint. As far as tom cruise! I think he has narcissistic personality disorder, or maybe some other personality disorder.

Looking at Sen. Larry Craig (and Mark Foley and Ted Haggert) in the news we see a disintegration of closeted homosexuals in the spotlight!

Tom might just be the next one and even Scientology's Sea Org won't be able to torture it out of him.

I don't think he has any mental illnesses. He is actually very aware and extremely passionate about life.



As a Scientologist studies and learns more about life they generally become more healthy and more able. As far as mental illness I have not seen it within the Scientologists I have worked with.



We are not anti-hard science. I am interested in science and advancement in technology, particularly technology that helps sustainability and the environment. Through Scientology you actually study the science of matter, energy, space, time and bodily function, mind function, endocrine, respiratory, nervous system and the like.
